Description
The Oatey reinforced wax ring with polyethylene horn is the traditional toilet-base seal. The horn extends down into the flange, improving alignment and reducing the risk of waste leaks past the seal. If you’re removing your toilet for any reason (tile work, flooring, or to fix a wobble or leak), you need a new wax ring – they don’t reseal once disturbed. The reinforced variant is more forgiving of small alignment issues than a plain wax ring.
