Today, Plumbing by the Book is a free repair-guide site that recommends parts through affiliate links to other retailers (such as Amazon) — purchases you make on a retailer’s own site are covered by that retailer’s policies, not this one. The policy below describes our direct-store terms, which apply if and when our own store reopens.
This Shipping Policy applies to items purchased directly from the Plumbing by the Book store. Parts you buy through our affiliate links on another retailer’s site are shipped by that retailer under their own shipping terms.
Where we ship
We currently ship within the United States. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
Processing time
Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and a second email with tracking once it ships.
Shipping rates and delivery
Shipping cost and the available delivery options are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay, based on the item and your address. Typical delivery is 3-7 business days after the order ships, though carrier delays outside our control can occur.
Tracking your order
Once your order ships, we email a tracking number. If your tracking has not updated after several business days, contact us at plumbingbythebook@gmail.com and we will look into it.
Lost, delayed, or damaged shipments
If your order is lost in transit or arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of the expected or actual delivery date and we will help resolve it. See our Refund and Returns Policy for returns of damaged or incorrect items.
