Description
The Moen 104421 cartridge puller is the manufacturer-supplied tool for removing stuck Moen single-handle cartridges (1224, 1222, 1225, etc.). Stuck cartridges are extremely common after 10+ years of installation – the brass and rubber bond to the valve body and ordinary pliers will snap the cartridge stem off, turning a 30-minute repair into a 3-hour disaster. This tool grips the cartridge body and pulls straight up with mechanical advantage. If you’re replacing any Moen single-handle cartridge for the first time, buy this tool.
