Description
The Moen 26100 Halo is an 8-inch round rain shower head that mounts on a standard shower arm to deliver a spa-style rainfall experience. Its self-cleaning nozzles resist the mineral buildup that clogs ordinary heads over time.
Moen's Immersion technology channels water through roughly three times as many nozzles as a conventional head, for broader, more even coverage. For the best spray height under a standard 8-foot ceiling, pair it with a high-rise shower arm (sold separately), which lifts the head and angles the rainfall down over you.
On a standard arm it threads on without tools — unscrew the old head, add PTFE tape, and hand-tighten. The only real planning decision is whether to add the taller arm: mounted on a standard horizontal arm, an 8-inch rain head sits closer to your head than the spa-style overhead effect most buyers are picturing.
